Job Summary

A company is looking for a Credentialing Coordinator (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure timely completion of credentialing applications and maintain an accurate physician database
• Assist in the training of new team members and perform file audits for credentialing files
• Communicate with applicants and gather necessary verifications to complete the credentialing process

Required Qualifications

• Two years of post-high school education, training, or experience; an Associate degree in health administration or related field preferred
• One year of work experience in a healthcare environment with knowledge of the healthcare industry
• Understanding of NCQA and TJC standards, NPDB guidelines, and hospital policies
• Experience with database management and proficiency in Windows-based software
• CPCS and/or CPMSM eligibility by the National Association Medical Staff Services preferred but not required
