Job Summary

A company is looking for a Collections Representative.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Third-Party Accounts Receivable by analyzing denied and unresponded claims
• Make outbound calls to insurance carriers to appeal and check claims status
• Process insurance/patient refunds and adjustments while maintaining compliance with HIPAA standards

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• 1+ years of experience in healthcare accounts receivable or follow-up
• 1+ years of experience working with multiple payors, including Medicare and commercial insurance providers
• 1+ years of experience in billing or collections within a hospital or facility setting
