Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Revenue Accountant.

Key Responsibilities

• Determine proper revenue recognition for various contracts and provide guidance to the Client Billing group
• Establish checks and balances for invoicing and maintain documentation for billing and revenue recognition
• Complete monthly General Ledger account reconciliations for revenue accounts and support audits

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a similar accounting role
• Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, particularly revenue-related pronouncements
• Ability to read and interpret complex contracts
• Proven advanced Excel skills and experience with automated accounting systems
