US Licensed Immigration Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a US Immigration Counsel to support high-volume U.S. business immigration operations on a 4-month contract.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic legal advice on complex immigration matters for visa-dependent employees
• Oversee the preparation and filing of non-immigrant and immigrant petitions and applications
• Conduct legal research on immigration law and summarize findings into concise legal memoranda

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in business immigration law, particularly with technology clients
• Experience with non-immigrant and immigrant visa processes, including H-1B, L-1, TN, and PERM
• Juris Doctor or international equivalent degree
• Active license to practice law in a relevant jurisdiction
• At least 3 years of experience practicing at a law firm
