Job Summary

A company is looking for an Underwriting Consultant - Major Accounts.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and clarify group health application information from various stakeholders
• Perform risk appraisals and evaluate group risk for health insurance prospects and renewals
• Calculate and negotiate rates and premium charges for group health insurance

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Finance, Accounting, or related field
• 8 years of experience in Stop Loss Underwriting, Financial Underwriting, Actuarial, or Financial Management
• Experience with ASO pricing
• Strong understanding of underwriting principles and practices
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently or in a team environment
