North Carolina Licensed Behavioral Health Advocate

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Behavioral Health Care Advocate to promote recovery and resiliency for individuals with complex behavioral health needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage and motivate consumers through a recovery-oriented approach and provide necessary referrals and services
  • Collaborate with external providers and community resources to address the needs of high-risk consumers
  • Monitor and support consumer progress through follow-up and participation in treatment plan discussions
Required Qualifications:
  • Licensed Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field, or an RN with 2+ years in behavioral health
  • Active and unrestricted license in North Carolina
  • 2+ years of experience in a mental health setting
  • Proficiency in electronic clinical records and basic computer skills
  • Must reside in North Carolina and have access to high-speed internet
