About The Role

Megaport is in an exciting phase of rapid growth, and we’re looking for a Recruiter to join us on a 12-month fixed-term contract to support our scaling efforts across the business. From Engineering, Sales, Go-To-Market, Operations, and beyond! This is a unique opportunity to work across a broad range of roles and make a real impact on a global scale.

 

You’ll report to our Talent Acquisition Manager based in Brisbane and collaborate closely with our Talent Acquisition Specialist in Texas, driving recruitment efforts across North and South America, with the chance to support hiring initiatives across EMEA and APAC as well.

 

This role is ideal for a recruiter who thrives on variety, works at pace without sacrificing quality, and wants to be part of a fast-growing tech company transforming global connectivity.


What You'll Be Doing
  • Partner with hiring managers across every function: Engineering, Product, Sales, Marketing, Legal, Finance, and Operations to find top talent.
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle: sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiations, and onboarding.
  • Run proactive hiring strategies to keep up with high demand and a fast-moving hiring pipeline.
  • Source candidates creatively across platforms like LinkedIn, events, referrals, and networks.
  • Own job postings, evaluation tools, and candidate communications to ensure a consistent and standout experience.
  • Collaborate across time zones and regions, with visibility into hiring initiatives across the US, Europe, and Asia-Pacific.
  • Support external campaigns and internal programs, including social hiring pushes, referral initiatives, and process improvements.


What We Are Looking For
  • 2 - 3 + years of recruitment experience, ideally in an agency, tech, or high-growth environment.
  • Experience recruiting across technical and non-technical roles, with a strong grasp of sourcing best practices.
  • Comfort working at speed, managing multiple roles and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • An organised and efficient approach to hiring, with a strong focus on execution and follow-through.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills—able to build trust with hiring teams and influence decisions.
  • A true team player; collaborative, low-ego, and thoughtful in their approach, working closely with both the Global Talent Team and the wider People & Culture team.
  • Experience with recruitment tools (We use Lever, Workday, LinkedIn Recruiter)
  • A collaborative, solutions-focused mindset - you enjoy working across cultures and time zones.
