Human Resources (HR) Intern - Talent Acquisition (TA)


This is a full-time, non-exempt position working in Tempe, AZ


Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM PST 


Compensation: $15.00 to $17.00 per hour!


We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Onboarding Human Resources Intern to join our HR team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in human resources, specifically focusing on the onboarding process within a dynamic healthcare environment. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

Assist in providing support to the HR team, including onboarding and recruiting. 

Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company. 

Prepare and manage onboarding documentation and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and timely. 

Conduct orientation sessions and introduce new employees to company policies, culture, and values. 

Respond to HR-related inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner. 

Support the HR team in maintaining and updating HR documentation and knowledge base articles. 

Assist with the setup and configuration of employee records, benefits, and payroll systems. 

Participate in HR projects and initiatives as needed. 

Provide excellent customer service and ensure employee satisfaction. 

Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information. 


Knowledge & Skills

- Basic understanding of HR services, such as recruitment and employee relations.

- Foundational knowledge of HR practices and procedures.

- Good organizational and prioritization skills, with a strong attention to detail and time management.


Qualifications

- Currently enrolled in a degree program in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

- Basic understanding of HR concepts and practices.


$15 - $17 an hour
