Job Description

  1. Manage activities and scheduling of staff
  2. Prepare and execute personal goals
  3. Ensure all standard operating procedures are followed
  4. Interface with US Customs and other government agencies
  5. Ensure all clients are set up according to policy
  6. Possess a complete working knowledge of operational procedures
  7. Process entries and support operations where needed
  8. Ensure the company credit policy is followed
  9. Supervise department receivables and payables
  10. Ensure all key performance indicators and monitored and met
  11. Participate in Quality Business Reviews and manage exceptions
  12. Provide pricing to customers
  13. Participate in sales calls
  14. Drive continuous improvement through use of productivity tools
  15. Foster a culture of compliance at all times
  16. Work to create a positive, motivated staff
  17. Conduct performance evaluations and reviews with assistance from department manager

Qualifications

  • US Custom's broker's license
  • 3 years experience in the industry
  • PC skills
  • Ability to articulate clearly
  • Ability to relate to clients, Customs and other government officials, suppliers and staff at all levels
  • 1 year supervisory experience
  • Interpersonal skills
  • College degree preferred
