As a Director of Product Management, you will lead the product vision and strategy for growth and retention while managing a team of Principal and Senior Product Managers. In this role, you will own the end-to-end experience for thousands of vacation rental owners, helping them start, manage, and grow their businesses on Evolve’s platform. You will define the product strategy to scale the business significantly, determining the features and capabilities required to achieve that growth.

Successful candidates will be big thinkers who excel in navigating ambiguity, possess strong analytical skills, and have exceptional verbal and written communication abilities. They will bring a high degree of cross-functional collaboration, influencing a diverse set of leaders across Engineering, UX, Marketing, Sales, and Operations to identify opportunities and drive consensus on product investments. • Build and manage teams of Principal and Senior Product Managers, ensuring the product organization can effectively support all stakeholders in the Evolve marketplace (Guests, Owners, Partners, and Evolvers).
  • Instill product management best practices throughout the product organization, in addition to your own teams, creating a culture of learning and career development opportunities for the product management organization.
  • Create frameworks to ensure product is prioritizing the highest impact initiatives, and that product roadmaps focus on delivering business value and impact company KPIs
  • Stay close to the details to ensure your teams are executing fast and help remove blockers for them as they surface.
  • Work with leadership on process and organizational improvements to ensure high quality, on time execution of product roadmap.

What makes you a great fit

  • 10+ years of experience in Product Management preferably within a fast paced, high-growth environment
  • 5+ years of experience managing high functioning product management team
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to build cross functional partnerships with varying types of teams, ranging from highly technical engineering teams to end user facing support teams.
  • Proven ability to drive data-informed decision making, leveraging stakeholder input, qualitative user research, the competitive landscape, and analytics to steer invested parties towards balanced recommendations.
  • Ability to evaluate trade offs amongst competing priorities, and discuss new ideas while maintaining focus on overall business priorities.
  • Familiarity with a wide breadth of product management tools and services to aid product organization in discovery, documentation, execution and measurement of products.
