Team Leader Agency Partnerships Team DACH (f/m/d)

Purpose of position

This role is the owner and person responsible for growth of agency business in the DACH region. You will be the driving force behind maintaining and expanding our market leading position within the agency landscape. You will be an ambassador to Awin for the full spectrum of agency types working to improve and maintain relationships with our partners, identifying growth and expansion opportunities by closely matching their needs and educating about Awin.  

You will be responsible for driving the results of the DACH agency Team by coaching, coordinating, and measuring their progress on a day-to-day basis. You will also be an important global stakeholder, ensuring that agency needs are communicated across the company and ensuring that agencies have an aligned experience when working with Awin in multiple markets. 

Key Tasks

  • This role is expected to be the face of Awin to our agency partners – therefore it’s essential that the successful candidate is comfortable with visiting our agency clients in person – either meeting at events or at their offices.
  • You will be responsible for organizing and hosting local Awin agency client events and workshops.  
  • Proactive in leading the DACH Agency team to further strengthen and develop partnerships with AWIN agency partners.  
  • Supporting and coach a team of agency partnership managers, driving their professional development and helping them to implement strategies in line with the global agency vision and OKRs.  
  • Consistently meet targets for growth and expansion, holding each team member responsible to individual contribution
  • Working closely with global stakeholders in order to ensure a close alignment of experience with agencies when working with AWIN across territories.
  • This is a cross-functional role which ensures that all aspects of agency needs are closely aligned, ensuring that stakeholders involved in agency support and agency sales are closely aligned with the agency partnerships team using reporting data to identify opportunities.
  • Working closely with the Global Agency Director to implement global agency strategy in the DACH region and proactively propose new ideas to best suited to the DACH market and wider agency teams. 

Skills & Expertise

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in an account management, sales or business development role.
  • Proven track record of attaining account management KPIs or sales targets.
  • Native-level German and business fluency in English are required for this role.
  • Experience in managing teams and personal development would be a strong advantage.
  • Experience in multiple online marketing disciplines (SEA, SEO, programmatic etc.) would be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of the DACH agency landscape would be an advantage.
  • Strong communicator with a demonstrated ability to communicate with C-level external stakeholders.
  • Confident with using Salesforce, advanced Excel skills would be an advantage.
  • Experience generating content inside LMS or eloomi is an advantage.
  • Strong relationship building skills and a growth mindset.
