Express Service Advisor-Acura

Acura of Ellicott City is searching for an Express Service Advisor for the Accelerated lanes. This role helps manage the center of communications for quick repair activities and acts as a liaison between customers and the dealership. Customers are able to drive up without an appointment for oil changes, wiper repairs, filter changes... This role will communicate effectively with customers and manage expectations to provide world-class service. This is a full time, benefits eligible opening with a base salary and monthly commission to bring the all in $40-$50k.

Responsibilities:
  1. Schedule appointments and generate estimates for minor service inquiries
  2. Advise customers on the appropriate maintenance required to their vehicle based on manufacturer’s specifications
  3. Document repair and service orders in the correct fashion
  4. Establish and maintain a strong and positive working relationship with customers to encourage customer retention and referral business
  5. Communicate progress calls and/or emails to customers regarding any changes in the estimate or pick up time
  6. All other duties as assigned

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time, benefits eligible position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday hours will vary 7 am - 7 pm and Saturday 7 am - 5 pm. You will be off one day during the week and Sunday.
Required Education and Experience
  1. High School Diploma or GED required
  2. Valid Driver’s License
  3. Automotive experience preferred
  4. Must have excellent customer service skills
  5. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work efficiently
