Director of Partnerships - Ecommerce agencies (US)

About Zowie:

At Zowie, we’re all about pushing boundaries in customer experience. Our AI solutions are designed to help businesses connect faster, personalize better, and solve smarter. Top online brands (True Classic, Modivo, MediaMarkt, et al.) trust Zowie’s AI agents to be on the front-line of their customer care efforts (>1.2M conversations monthly) - to give their customers rapid support, speak their brands’ voice, drive customer loyalty, and boost their revenue. With just 1 out of every 1,000 website visitors talking to customer service globally, we believe that a well thought-out AI can tap into this gap and unlock tremendous value by bringing speed and empathy to customer interactions.

We’re a team of over 100 very ambitious individuals on a mission to do just that.

We’ve already established strong product traction with mid-market and enterprise customers both in Europe and in the US. Our team proved to know how to do outbound and scale in-house marketing activities to win leads. We are now unlocking a new revenue channel - partnerships.

Over the recent months, with the help of our amazing Partnerships advisor (Alex Lazoff), we’ve validated that this is a viable channel with immense potential for us. We aim to scale it further within three motions - the SIs partner ecosystem in the US and Europe, plus the Agency partner program in North America.

We’re now looking for a full-time Director of Partnerships to join us and build our partner ecosystem among ecommerce agencies from the ground up… well, almost from the ground up.

The north star is to implement Zowie’s AI to more and more Customer Service Teams to:

- Make their work 1.5x more efficient,

- Generate substantial cost savings,

- Improve customer satisfaction…

And ultimately help the businesses and their Customer Support thrive.

For the right Partnership professional, Zowie is an opportunity to bring extremely appealing AI technology and clearly quantifiable and often mission-critical value to businesses.

What you'll do:
  • Build and scale Zowie’s partner ecosystem, focusing on agencies in the US.
  • Lead the whole partnership cycle from prospecting, outreach strategy, and leveraging the network through demos, value discussions, and negotiations to onboarding and fostering relationships.
  • Establish long-term relationships with partners.
  • Proactively work with Zowie’s Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing Teams to connect all the dots and ensure all business needs are met.
  • Act as Zowie’s Ambassador and Host at global events, forums, and visits with partners and customers - it will require some traveling and a solid supply of social energy.

Ideally, you’ll bring with you:
  • A track record of successfully establishing agency partnerships within the ecommerce space
  • Expertise in scaling partner ecosystems to strategic revenue funnels
  • Analytical, numbers-oriented mind with a passion for technology
  • Exceptional communication & interpersonal skills with the ability to foster long-term relationships
  • A builder’s mentality combined with flexibility and scrappiness when needed
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

It’ll be awesome if you have:
  • Market knowledge within CS/CX or/and RPA/automation solutions
  • Experience in establishing and managing partnerships on a global scale, taking different cultures and markets into consideration

Please note, as you'll be working a lot with the Teams in Europe (Central European Time), Zowie needs the Partnerships Expert to be in Eastern or Central Time in North America. Thanks in advance for your understanding.

We are:

Ambitious and innovative. We never settle. We always look for better ways of doing things.

Like a sports team. We take ownership of our work and believe in personal accountability. At the same time, we work together, support each other, and focus on winning as a team.

Unafraid of change. The market we're in is changing rapidly and we thrive in this ever-evolving environment.

Growing fast. You’ll have a lot of autonomy and impact as we grow.
