Regional Sales Manager - Western & Central Africa

Job Description: Regional Sales Manager(RSM) for French-speaking territories of Western & Central Africa sub region 

The regional sales managers are the responsible for championing Cambium’s portfolio and solution sets’ added value, performance and cost effectiveness to end user customers, channel partners and Distributors. 

The department provides a crucial link between and through the entire channel’s actors: Distributors (selling Cambium PMP, PTP, and Enterprise Networking solutions), Partners (deploying and integrating them) and their End users (buying and using the solutions),setting the right local go-to-market strategy and driving the company’s revenues in the region, while actively partnering – as a duet - with the Regional Technical Manager for all technical related topics. 

Sales managers will be equally tasked between forecasting Sales activities (building a pipeline for and feeding opportunities in our CRM) and organizing Marketing activities (webinars, events) through managing distributors relationships, stocking orders, and inventory, sharing pricing and promotions, recruiting partners, nurturing them, and engaging with their customers, to drive value propositions through Cambium’s channel eco-system.  

The role implies frequent travels and engagement with all the French-speaking territories of Western & Central Africa, namely (by alphabetical order) Benin, Burundi, Cameroon, Central Africa Republic, Congo Brazzaville, Congo DRC, Djibouti, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Togo. 



Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations
  • Build and execute a country/regional go-to-market strategy: sales, marketing and communication. 
  • Develop Channel growth and work closely with distributors and former, newly or prospect partners. 
  • Forecast revenue with accuracy, distributor by distributor, and geography by geography. 
  • Maintain relationship with top VARs (SIs, MSPs, ISPs, Mobile Operators), as well as top end-users (Education, Healthcare, Hospitality, Oil & Gas, Mining, Utilities and other Enterprise verticals). 
  • Develop and close business opportunities in the region with an equal focus on the fixed wireless broadband (Point to point, Point to Multipoint radio links) portfolio and on the Enterprise networking segment (Wi-Fi, switching, security) as relevant for each country. 
  • Provide regular and effective feedback on large projects and opportunities to the management in a collaborative manner with the technical team. 
  • Feed and update the Sales Pipeline in the company’s ERP (NetSuite). 
  • Achieve and exceed assigned quota objectives with predictability through run rate business. 
  • Build the Cambium brand by developing and holding workshops, participation in roadshows and deliver trainings for the assigned sub-regions/market segment accounts.
