Oracle Database Administrator

We are seeking a seasoned Database Administrator with extensive experience in managing and optimizing Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server databases. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of our databases that support core functions of our business operations

  • Manage and maintain Oracle databases with a focus on stability, reliability, and performance.
  • Design and implement data warehouses, ensuring scalability and performance.
  • Develop and maintain SQL Server environments from version 2012 to 2019.
  • Utilize Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Integration Services (SSIS), and Analysis Services (SSAS) to support business intelligence.
  • Design robust database architectures that support critical business applications.
  • Implement and maintain high availability systems using WSFC, FCI, AOAG, and mirroring to ensure continuous database availability and disaster recovery.
  • Perform regular database health checks to ensure optimal performance and data integrity.
  • Write and optimize PowerShell scripts to automate routine database administration tasks.
  • Conduct performance tuning and optimization using best practices, including query tuning and server settings adjustments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database, system, and infrastructure issues.
  • Assess and optimize database indexes to improve performance and efficiency.
  • More than 7 years of experience in database administration, particularly with Oracle databases.
  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) for SQL Server.
  • Proven expertise in database design, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think algorithmically.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
