Programme Manager (IT Transition)

As an IT Transition Programme Director, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the IT aspects of our divestment projects within the Energy sector. This role requires a deep understanding of both IT infrastructure and the unique challenges associated with divestments in the oil and gas industry. You will be the key liaison between IT, business units, and external stakeholders, ensuring seamless transitions.

Here's what the role looks like:

  • Lead IT transition projects related to oil and gas divestments, ensuring all IT systems and services are successfully transferred.
  • Develop and execute detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define project requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues related to IT transitions.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Provide regular project updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and manage resources, including IT staff and third-party vendors.
  • Support post-transition activities and ensure successful handover to operational teams.

• Proven experience as an IT Transition Project Manager, preferably within the oil and gas industry.

• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, systems, and services.

• Experience in managing divestment projects and knowledge of the associated challenges and requirements.

• Excellent project management skills, including the ability to develop detailed project plans and manage budgets.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

• Proven problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks.
