Job Summary

A company is looking for a vCISO/Principal Consultant to serve as a strategic advisor and lead consulting engagements.

Key Responsibilities

• Guide clients in developing long-term cybersecurity and compliance strategies
• Build and maintain executive-level client relationships while managing complex engagements
• Provide mentorship to junior staff and contribute to business development efforts

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• 7+ years of experience in Consulting, Cybersecurity, or a related role
• BA/BS Degree preferred; professional certifications like CISSP, CISA, CISM preferred
• Deep knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, HITRUST, HIPAA, and ISO 27001
• Strong project management capabilities and ability to analyze complex regulatory challenges
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to mentor junior team members
