Job Summary

A company is looking for a Clinical Data Reimbursement Technician specializing in Inpatient Coding.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform DRG documentation quality reviews and validate coded information for compliance and reimbursement
  • Educate inpatient coding staff and hospital personnel on coding guidelines and report audit findings
  • Act as a resource for coding staff and provide leadership on coding systems and regulations


Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED with completion of HIM/Coding course
  • Minimum of 3 years of Inpatient Coding and MSDRG Auditing experience
  • Certification as a Coding Specialist, RHIT, or RHIA is required
  • Expertise in coding nomenclature classification systems and knowledge of MSDRG methodology
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and understanding of reimbursement methodologies
