Articulate and implement a strategic payroll vision while managing bi-weekly, multi-state payroll for over 800 employees
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws, and develop best practices for payroll processes
Lead the Payroll team and maintain partnerships with internal departments to align payroll functions with organizational objectives
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field preferred; MBA or payroll certifications are a plus
Minimum of 10 years of payroll experience with at least 7 years in a leadership role managing complex multi-state payroll
Experience with Workday and its optimization is required; Workday HCM certification in Payroll preferred
5+ years of experience leading cross-functional project teams involving HR, Finance, and Legal stakeholders
Advanced knowledge of payroll-related laws and a strong proficiency in Excel and data management
