Distribution Accounting Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close
• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP and regulatory standards
• Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory examiners, ensuring timely and accurate filing of reports

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required; Master's Degree preferred
• CPA or 5 years of broker-dealer accounting experience required
• 6+ years of relevant experience in financial services accounting
• Previous experience in a broker-dealer or RIA environment preferred
• Experience with cloud-based GL solutions and tools like Blackline, Workiva, and Domo preferred
