Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accounts Receivable Escalation Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow up on claim rejections and denials to ensure appropriate reimbursement for clients
• Process assigned AR work lists and write appeals to resolve claim denials
• Communicate with insurance companies regarding the status of outstanding claims

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least one year in data entry and one year in medical billing and claims resolution preferred
• AAHAM and/or HFMA certification preferred
• Experience with offshore engagement and collaboration desired
• Intermediate knowledge of medical billing rules and EOBs
