Job Description /  業務について

PayPay Product Designers are committed to eliminating user inconvenience and providing new value at all touch points originating from payments, not just only QR code payments.
PayPay is looking for a Product Designer who will join us to promote product creation that puts user experience top priority.

Team Mission

"PayPay for Business" (Web and App) is a tool provided for PayPay's merchants. It primarily supports smooth and efficient store operations and communication with customers, aiming to maximize sales and customer acquisition. 

 

Position Overview

Join a project and work with engineers, product managers, and senior designers to develop new features and improve existing features that put user experience as top priority.
Experience various challenges to deliver a new financial experience to users.

  • Design the total UX/UI for app/web tools for PayPay merchants.
  • UX flow and UI design based on concept
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative research and analysis using questionnaires and interviews
  • Analyze and suggest improvements using numerical analysis tools

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with engineers, product managers, and other roles together with Senior Product Designer in order to commit to projects from UX design to UI design.
  • Deep understanding of the concept and requirements, proposing a UX flow that considers inclusiveness, comprehensiveness, and consistency, and finalizing the UI design.


Qualifications

  • More than 3-5 years of hands-on professional experience in mobile app (iOS/Android) or Web services UX/UI design.
  • Experience in UX/UI design using Figma and Adobe
  • Hands-on experience in product release, effectiveness measurement, and product improvement
  • Business level of Japanese language (written, verbal)
  • Experience in using PayPay application


Preferred qualifications

  • Hands-on experience in design utilizing HCD (Human Centered Design) and design thinking
  • Experience in managing in-house services
  • Conversational level in English
  • Experience in designing services for B2B

ユーザーに新しい金融の体験を届けるための様々なチャレンジが可能です。

  • PayPay加盟店向けアプリ/WebツールにおけるトータルなUX/UIデザイン
  • コンセプトを元にしたUXフロー、UIデザイン
  • アンケートやインタビューを用いた定量・定性調査、分析
  • 数値分析ツールを用いた分析と改善の提案


責任範囲

  • Senior Product Designerと共に、エンジニア、プロダクトマネージャーなど他のロールと密に連携し、UX設計からUIデザインまで、プロジェクトにコミットしていただきます。
  • コンセプト、要件を深く理解し、包括性、網羅性、一貫性を考慮したUXフローの提案、UIデザインのファイナライズまでを行っていただきます。

必要な経験/スキル

  • 3~5年以上のモバイルアプリ(iOS/Android)、またはWebサイトのUX/UIデザインの実務経験
  • Figma、Adobeを用いたUX/UIデザインの実務経験
  • プロダクトのリリース、効果測定、改善の実務経験
  • ビジネスレベルの日本語(文章、会話)
  • PayPayアプリを利用したことがある

あると望ましい経験/スキル

  • HCD(人間中心設計)やデザイン思考を活用したデザインの実務経験
  • インハウスでの自社サービス運用経験
  • 英語が日常会話レベルで可能
  • B2B向けサービスのデザイン経験

  • Super Flex Time (No Core Time)
  • In principle, 10:00am-6:45pm (actual working hours: 7h45m + 1h break)

Holidays

  • Every Sat/Sun/National holidays (In Japan)/New Year's break/Company-designated Special days

Paid leave

  • Annual leave (up to 14 days in the first year, granted proportionally according to the month of employment. Can be used from the date of hire)
  • Personal leave (5 days each year, granted proportionally according to the month of employment)
    *PayPay's own special paid leave system, which can be used to attend to illnesses, injuries, hospital visits, etc., of the employee, family members, pets, etc.

Salary

  • Annual salary paid in 12 installments (monthly)
  • Based on skills, experience, and abilities
  • Reviewed once a year
  • Special Incentive once a year *Based on company performance and individual contribution and evaluation
  • Late overtime allowance, Work from anywhere allowance (JPY100,000)
