NOTE: Candidates are to be located in New York, NY metro areas only as this is a hybrid role where you are required to come into our New York, NY based office twice a week.  

Responsibilities

• Work with stakeholders to research, validate, and define product feature initiatives and enhancements
• Craft every detail of your projects, collaborating closely with product, engineering, and client services teams to iterate based on feedback
• Create and contribute to deliverables to support feature tickets, including high fidelity mockups, prototypes, and feature specs
• Work closely with engineers to support and clarify their efforts while building features
• Partner with the engineering team to test UI/UX aspects of features you worked on
• Contribute to and maintain design system and other team process documentation

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience designing complex products in an enterprise/SAAS or equivalent environment
• Fantastic designer — your online portfolio demonstrates superb execution of layout, hierarchy, spacing, color usage, typography, iconography, interactions, states, animation, and responsiveness
• Figma pro — can build scalable UI using styles/components/variants, effectively organize layers/frames/groups, and use plugins to automate large/difficult tasks
• Research oriented — can effectively use quantitative and qualitative sources to validate hypotheses
• Excellent communicator — can collaborate with remote teams over video/chat, provide actionable design feedback in design reviews, etc.
• Capable writer — able to succinctly document high level feature requirements, write microcopy in the app, etc.
• Web tech literate — familiar with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JS, databases, Git, etc.) and generally understand how your designs will be implemented

Salary Range based in NY: $120,000 to $175,000.
