How will you add value to the OpenPayd journey?- Build an outbound pipeline of high-quality prospects to convert, for both the payments and trading solutions OpenPayd offers through either cold calling, own network, or cross business referrals
- Manage the entire sales process from identifying leads, negotiating commercials through to go-live to ensure a smooth and seamless onboarding experience for clients
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to help improve internal processes and deliver a best-in-class experience for clients
- Build, maintain and strengthen client relationships to drive increased usage of OpenPayd products and services through daily interactions
- Following training, be able to execute both buy and sell orders and make markets in FX and other asset classes
- Drive increased trading volume to OpenPayd’s trading desk by understanding clients’ liquidity needs and proactively identifying ways to meet those needs
- Stay informed on market trends and news so as to provide market colour to both clients externally and colleagues internally
- Along with the assistance of the head of trading, help publish a daily market commentary to be sent to OpenPayd’s clients
- Adhere to all risk policies and regulatory requirements
- Attend trade shows and industry events to generate new leads and opportunities for the business.
The ideal candidate will have the following:- Minimum of 3 years within the payments/BAAS/Modern Treasury SAAS industry/Trading
- You will be qualifying and disqualifying new business opportunities, conducting conversations by phone as well as online or physical meetings and events
- Understanding of FX/Crypto Trading
- Proven track record of successful full sales cycle execution and delivering against revenue targets
- Experience of successfully managing sales engagements/handling 1st stage of sales cycle
- Understanding of the payments ecosystem, trends and innovative payments solutions
- Ability to create technical solutions mapping and implementation approach for a broad range of client needs
- A passion for the industry; an ongoing interest in the development of the industry and, most importantly drive to deliver
- Experience using Salesforce, working in a start-up or FinTech company are all beneficial
- You are able to think creatively about how best to engage new customers
