Role Essentials
As a member of the Accounting Department, the Manager Finance Compliance, SOX is primarily responsible for driving the compliance of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) across the organization. This position will also assist with the Company’s external (SEC) reporting requirements, and as part of a small finance organization, become involved with re-financings, acquisitions and other strategic activities as the opportunities arise.

COMPENSATION STATEMENT
Lindblad Expeditions determines the pay for positions using local, national, and industry-specific survey data. We evaluate external equity and the cost of labor/prevailing wage index in the relative marketplace for jobs directly comparable to jobs within our company. Our posted salary range is based on national data and may be refined for a candidate's region/town/cost of living.
For new hires, we strive to make competitive offers allowing the new employee room for future growth. Salaries will be based on the applicant’s location, level of experience, education, and specialized knowledge and skills. An employee/candidate with a stronger skill set will receive higher pay.

At Lindblad Expeditions, we’re excited to announce an opening for a Manager, Finance Compliance - SOX to join our dynamic Accounting Department in New York, NY. This isn't just a job; it’s an opportunity to be part of a true pioneer in expedition travel, where you will help drive our Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance efforts across the organization. Your role will involve close collaboration with our Corporate Controller and you will be at the forefront of implementing our annual SOX plan, ensuring that we maintain our high standards of financial integrity. You’ll have the chance to work with internal and external auditors, monitor control deficiency risks, and provide regular updates on SOX testing progress. In addition, you will assist with SEC reporting, playing a key role in the preparation of Form 10-K, 10-Qs, and earnings releases. Your input will be crucial in maintaining data flows between our accounting systems and the SEC reporting tools. If you have a solid background in accounting or finance, strong communication skills, and an enthusiasm for compliance, you're just the person we’re looking for. This role offers a competitive salary of $105,000 to $120,000 plus an annual performance bonus, along with fantastic benefits including travel perks and health insurance.
