Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Insurance Claims Specialist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage patient account balances, ensuring accurate claim submission and compliance with regulations
  • Resolve claim edits and account errors prior to submission, and follow up with third party payers
  • Assist with denial management and provide customer service support to patients and staff
Required Qualifications
  • High School Graduate or equivalent
  • HFMA Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) Certification within 90 days of hire
  • Six (6) years of medical billing/medical office experience, with nine (9) months directly related to hospital insurance claims
  • Completion of sixteen hours of revenue cycle continuing education required annually
