WHAT YOU’LL DO:

As a Technical Trainer, you’ll be the catalyst for empowering Kaseya customers and employees through engaging and effective training sessions. You’ll deliver live and virtual training programs, helping learners gain the technical expertise they need to succeed. Whether preparing users for certifications, crafting instructional content, or supporting new team members, you’ll bring a spark of energy and innovation to the learning experience.


WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We’re seeking a skilled communicator and educator with a passion for technology and teaching. Reporting to the Training Manager, you’ll thrive in this role if you have a knack for explaining complex concepts in simple terms, a background in IT, and a flair for creating engaging learning experiences.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Training Delivery:

    • Conduct high-quality, live, and virtual training sessions tailored to diverse audiences.
    • Prepare learners to pass certification exams with confidence.
  • Content Development:

    • Collaborate with instructional designers to ensure technical accuracy and engaging material.
    • Act as a subject matter expert on Kaseya’s Security and IT Operations solutions.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:

    • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to align training content with business goals.
    • Mentor new team members to uphold training standards and best practices.
  • Customer Empowerment:

    • Develop a deep understanding of customer use cases to create relevant, impactful training experiences.
    • Support learners in acquiring knowledge, skills, and competencies that drive success.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • Education & Experience:

    • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Education, or related field preferred.
    • 2+ years of experience in training, public speaking, or a related role.
  • Technical Proficiency:

    • Familiarity with IT infrastructure (servers, storage, virtualization, cloud services).
    • Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls).
  • Training Expertise:

    • Knowledge of adult learning methodologies and instructional design principles.
    • Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and multimedia content creation tools.
  • Soft Skills:

    • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Preferred Qualifications:

    • Training certification (e.g., ATD Master Trainer).
    • Experience creating instructional text, video scripts, and assessments.
