Overview
Intersection is the managing partner of CityBridge, which has the franchise contract with NYC for the LinkNYC project. This “smart” city kiosk provides various services that include WiFi, emergency services, city messaging and advertising. Intersection is searching for a Digital Field Technical Support Specialist to help support the maintenance of these kiosks in NYC.
Monday to Friday, 8PM-4:30AM

You’ll be the unsung hero, assisting our Digital Field Technicians in keeping the LinkNYC kiosks running smoothly while enhancing the city experience for millions. Your role involves performing in-field replacements of key components, conducting power cycles on malfunctioning kiosks, and ensuring that inventory is replenished and refurbished efficiently. We’re looking for a proactive problem solver who’s comfortable around electro-mechanical components and can utilize both common and specialized tools. Strong communication skills are essential, as you'll need to follow documented procedures and understand technical documents while putting your troubleshooting skills to the test. If you can lift up to 50 lbs and thrive with minimal supervision, this position is perfect for you!
