Ingram Barge Company is seeking a Talent Coordinator to join our team in Paducah, KY. This position is responsible for supporting the Talent Acquisition function. This role will help with scheduling and tracking interviews, generating offer letters and new hire packets, processing and administering external screening (background check, drug screen, physicals) and pushing candidates to new hire status.

What you will be doing:

  • Preparing candidates for Orientation by scheduling them once approved for hire, and providing all materials needed to prepare candidate for Orientation
  • Communicating frequently with candidate as needed to ensure a positive candidate experience and to ensure candidates arrive with necessary gear/equipment (boots, seasonal gear, TWIC card, etc.).
  • Responsible for hiring new hires in through Applicant Tracking System and collaborates with IS and Payroll to ensure candidate is hiring in correctly.
  • Greeting new hires on Day 1 of Orientation; ensuring candidates do have all necessary equipment and collecting all necessary paperwork.
  • Processing all paperwork, including filing new hire paperwork in OnBase
  • Acting as point of contact for training team and provides new hire orientation headcount, contact information, etc.
  • Screening candidates in Applicant Tracking System to support Recruiters; including rejecting underqualified candidates.
  • Supporting Talent Acquisition team with other miscellaneous administrative tasks as needed.
  • Answering job seeker’s questions about job openings, how to apply, and status of applications
  • Providing TA and Training with updates on candidates including projected timing of starts
  • Answering multiple phone lines and routes calls to TA and other departments
  • Creating and making changes to property access cards for new and tenured associates

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to adapt communication style to fit various audiences
  • Ability to interact and communicate effectively with all levels within the organization
  • Commitment to handle sensitive information confidentially
