About The Role : 

Our Junior SEO Managers are both analytical thinkers and creative problem solvers. As a key member of our marketing team, you’ll play a vital role in enhancing our online visibility, driving organic traffic, and improving search engine rankings. With a focus on both on-page and off-page SEO, you’ll optimize existing content, uncover growth opportunities, and contribute to the execution of data-driven SEO strategies.

You’ll combine your understanding of search engine algorithms with a passion for content and analytics to deliver measurable results. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on learning, adapting, and staying ahead in a constantly evolving digital landscape.

We also know that collaboration drives success, so you’ll work closely with content creators, developers, and marketing specialists to align SEO strategies with wider business objectives. Whether it’s brainstorming keyword strategies, conducting technical audits, or presenting insights to stakeholders, your contributions will directly impact the company’s growth and online presence.

What You’ll Do : 

• Contribute to the SEO strategy, roadmap and liaise internally with the SEO team for heycar-run sites Analyse competitors’ SEO strategies to gain insights and provide recommendations.
• Work with the Senior SEO Manager, and Product & Engineering teams to help influence SEO projects and prioritise recommendations.
• Closely monitor and track performance to mitigate any potential loss in rankings for heycar.com/de .
• Contribute to creating detailed and insightful reports to communicate performance trends to wider teams.
• Leverage large data sets to analyse site performance and opportunities and effectively communicate the value of SEO-driven projects to key stakeholders across the business.
• Stay up to date with all Google updates and identify how they influence our site.
• Conduct keyword research to identify new content opportunities for the editorial team and inform overall site strategy. 
• Identify on-page optimisation opportunities and take a hands-on role in implementing changes on the website and write new articles for our content hub yourself
• Work with our internal and external PR teams and assist in delivering high-quality backlinks through outreach campaigns and help develop tools and resources to solicit backlinks.

What You’ll Need

• SEO experience: You love SEO, stay on top of everything new and exciting in the world of search, and actively look to find ways to test and you are eager to learn - With 6+ months of experience.
• SEO Tool Experience: You have basic experience in using SEO tools, such as Google Search Console, Semrush or ahrefs.
• An analytical thinker: Good analytical skills for measuring, interpreting, and making decisions based on large volumes of performance data. Experience in contributing to website changes that deliver increased search visibility. Strong communication skills and ability to work with a variety of different teams.
• Possess a can-do attitude: and demonstrate creativity and ability to develop innovative and original solutions to technical hurdles.
• Drive and determination: You’ll be eager to make progress quickly and solve problems. You’re proactive when it comes to working on solutions when your progress is hindered. 
• Communication: An ability to communicate effectively across multiple teams within the business. 
• Growth attitude: Hands-on and proactive, you’ll have a can-do attitude and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. You’ll be super organised, too, which means you’ll have excellent time management skills.
