Internal Controls Manager

What you'll be doing

Reporting to the Senior Control Manager, the key purpose of this role is to help ensure that the Group has a fully documented, monitored and scalable control framework. This role will include line management and supervision of two junior analysts.

The finance team at Future is around 120 people centred on Bath with careers in all areas if Finance.

We operate an approachable environment with close working relationships through all levels of management. Future is fast paced with over 260 brands and a number of routes to market, the role offers core responsibility but with a high level of project work that can mean two days are never the same. We're keen to partner with our team members to ensure career development aligns to personal goals and circumstances. So whether you are looking to specialise in a field or broaden your experience we'll be able to support you in realising your aspirations.

Experience that will put you ahead of the curve

  • Qualified ACA or equivalent
  • Experience of SOX control environments and an understanding of best practice in control design and documentation
  • Change management and process improvement
  • Finance and controls knowledge and experience to facilitate review and improvement of the Group’s control environment
  • Presentation and influencing skills
