As a Group Client Director, you are responsible for having a deep understanding of your client’s business and challenges - this is not limited to just media & advertising. You will work with the client team to unearth & develop business challenges into solutions that will not only drive your client’s business forward
You will be curious, passionate, enthusiastic and ultimately indispensable to the client and their business. You will ensure that the output from the team is of consistent quality, seamlessly translates strategic approach from end to end and that all deadlines are met.

Responsibilities
- Understand your clients business and have an informed view on far broader elements of the client’s world and not limited to just Media & Advertising. Know your clients KPI’s and how we can help them to hit these.
- Maintain a consultative relationship. Talk to your clients daily – be an extension to their marketing team. A continuous dialogue is essential to developing the relationship
- Leverage the wider agency. Don’t limit your thinking to the immediate client group. Use broader sectors, share knowledge from other groups.
- Understand your own business. Speak intelligently and persuasively about the ambitions and levers we have
- Collaborate and be the lead agency yet establish strong relationships with other agency partners understanding their role within the agency village.
- Construct plans for team progression (both succession plans and contingency plans)
- Drive the team culture through development of team engagement plan
- Responsible for ensuring training and development is available and implemented for junior team members in the group
- Promote the connections planning process ensuring that it is implemented across all client work.
- Work closely with the Strategic Planner on the creation of unique and insightful channel strategies that meet the client needs
- Share ‘great work’ – from your team with the wider agency & also from MediaCom with your clients
- Go above and beyond to understand your clients brand/products - talk to consumers who have done the same
- Be aware of all key client contract commitments; including but not limited to scopes of work to ensure ongoing profitability for the business
- Lead new business pitches as required
