Domtar’s Nekoosa, Wisconsin pulp & paper mill is currently seeking hourly, entry-level production workers who have a safety mindset. Our career progression provides opportunities to gain experience and develop skills in the pulp and paper-making manufacturing technologies while increasing your earnings.
Workers in the entry level labor pool are assigned to operating and service departments to assist with extra workload, cover absences, and supplement crews required to meet unusual changes in the workload. Job duties may include but are not limited to; operation of machinery, forklift/clamp truck operating and general housekeeping.
New employees earn $28.70 an hour plus shift differential while working in entry level positions. The rate of pay is determined by the position the employee works in that day. Domtar offers competitive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance and 401(k) with company match. Benefits are effective on the 1st of the month following the hire date. New hires earn one week of paid vacation after six months of employment and an additional week after one year of service. Domtar also recognizes 11 paid holidays.
