Real Estate Analyst

DC Advisory is looking to hire an analyst in their Real Estate team

Our European Real Estate team is expanding its offering within DC’s London office. The team covers Real Estate, Healthcare Real Assets and Hospitality sectors and provides M&A and Capital Advisory services to a wide range of clients. The head of this team has an exceptionally strong reputation within the market and has over 25 years of experience specialising in Real Estate M&A, and Capital Advisory, along with more than £10bn of transactions in the past decade. He is supported by senior members with more than 10 years of individual experience in both M&A and Capital Advisory. Given strong growth in the deal pipeline, they are looking for an analyst with a strong interest in real estate and with the willingness to undertake a career in real estate investment banking to join their team.

Key responsibilities

  • The core part of an Analyst’s role is to produce complex financial models and valuations and to draft presentations for clients.
  • To produce briefing notes and research relating to organisations, sectors and markets.
  • Analysis, synthesis and interpretation of data, to present a complete picture of an organisation or a sector.
  • Supporting in the preparation of pitch books and all other marketing materials.
  • Supporting transaction execution from the preparatory phase to closing.
  • Support senior team members in business development and deal origination.
  • Keep the team informed of progress and activity.
  • Coach and train more junior team members.
  • Making contact and interacting with peers in other DC Advisory offices.
  • Strong academic record (at least a 2.1 degree or equivalent from a leading institution).
  • Experience in the Real Estate sector is essential, either in an Investment Bank or an Investment Fund.
  • Experience in executing M&A or Debt transactions in the Real Estate sector.
  • Strong quantitative skills including experience with financial models and understanding of accounting standards.
  • Strong commercial acumen and business awareness.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Problem solving and solution oriented.
  • Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
