Job Summary

A company is looking for a Credentialing Coordinator to manage the credentialing process and maintain medical staff information.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate the review and analysis of practitioner applications for completeness and eligibility
• Manage the credentialing database and ensure compliance with accreditation standards and federal regulations
• Participate in audits and maintain accurate practitioner data for regulatory compliance

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 3 years of healthcare-related experience required
• Credentialing/Medical Staff Office experience preferred
• Certification as a Provider Credential Specialist is preferred upon hire
• Knowledge of credentialing and privileging principles is essential
