Summary
Allegiant’s Facilities Engineer I is responsible for the coordination and quality control of third-party maintenance and hands on maintenance projects at Allegiant’s corporate offices in Las Vegas, Nevada, as well as other Allegiant properties, including but not limited to, Allegiant’s offices at Harry Reid International Airport. They assist the Facilities Chief Engineer and the Facilities Engineer II with the day-to-day operation of Allegiant’s headquarters. The Engineer must be skilled at managing their own time and prioritizing workloads, ensuring scopes of work stay within established budgets. They are also responsible to fill out work reports and daily duties report.

Combination of Education and Experience will be considered. Must be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986. Must pass a Criminal Background Check.
Education: High School Diploma/GED
Years of Experience: Minimum two (2) years of work experience on commercial buildings repairing and installing equipment coupled with general maintenance issues and commercial building operations.
•Working knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical, carpentry, and plumbing.
•Computer proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
•Ability to perform plumbing maintenance, light carpentry, and light electrical and mechanical work.
•Ability to read and understand mechanical prints, drawings, and electrical diagrams and work from such prints, drawings, and diagrams.
•Ability to multitask and adapt quickly to change.
•Proactive in the safety and security of facilities.
•Ability to follow written instructions and complete documentation associated with preventative and predictive maintenance.
•Familiar with a variety of maintenance fields’ concepts, practices, and procedures.
•Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
•Well organized with excellent time management skills.
•Possess the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a positive attitude.
•Ability to perform a variety of complicated tasks and to exercise a wide degree of judgment.
•Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English.
•Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.
•Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.
•Must have a valid driver’s license.
•Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
•Ability and willingness to work occasional nights and weekends.
Preferred Requirements
•Experience with BMS software.
•Past similar experience in a corporate office setting.
Job Duties
•Participate and assist in the planning of safety and fire drills. Work with Allegiant’s Safety and Security team.
•Serve as point of contact to resolve emergency type building issues on an on-call basis.
•Maintain the integrity of the conference rooms which includes power, coordinates, and tracks repairs.
•Perform weekly pre-maintenance assigned building walks to assess repairs.
•Perform routine preventative maintenance tasks and calibrations on Allegiant’s systems. Tracks warranties and maintenance agreements for Allegiant assets at HQ and airport locations.
•Work closely with contractors to oversee emergency maintenance issues and equipment as well as troubleshoot issues as they arise.
•Read and understand mechanical prints, drawings, and electrical diagrams.
•Perform general maintenance duties as assigned by Senior Manager / Chief Engineer with minimal supervision.
•Maintain Allegiant workstations, make light repairs to desks and chairs as needed.
•Perform general maintenance, plumbing, drywall, carpentry, and painting, as well as some light HVAC maintenance.
•Assist the Facilities team with a variety of tasks as they arise.
•Daily review of the maintenance facility ticketing system.
•Model Allegiant’s customer service standards in personal actions and when providing direction.
•Other duties as assigned.

Office - While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, see, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, key board, printer, and phone. May be required to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 20 lbs. May be required to work various shifts/days in a 24-hour situation. Regular attendance is a requirement of the role. Exposure to moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phones, printers, and foot traffic), temperature and light fluctuations. Ability to work in a confined area as well as the ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time. Some travel may be a requirement of the role.
