Summary
The Quality Assurance (QA) Maintenance Manager is responsible to the Senior Manager of Regulatory Compliance for ensuring Allegiant Air’s continued compliance with 14 CFR 121.373 and Continuing Airworthiness Maintenance Program through supervising, planning, coordinating, and monitoring the regular auditing of internal maintenance processes, contract repair, overhaul, and fuel vendors. The manager will maintain Coordinating Agency for Supplier Evaluation (C.A.S.E.) Level III qualification and act as the Allegiant Air representative to the C.A.S.E. organization.

•CASE Level III or able to score at least 10 points on C.A.S.E. CACS-4 form, to begin working towards a C.A.S.E. Level III authorization within the probationary period of 6 months. Points are attained by a combination of educational accomplishments, work experiences, and professional certifications.
Years of Experience:
•Minimum three (3) years of 14 CFR Part 121 or 135 Quality Assurance/Quality Control experience and/or served in a leadership role (Manager or above) in a maintenance operations department that is subject to auditing.
•Minimum twelve (12) months of experience as an Airline Level II Auditor or a portion of time in the Quality/CASS organization devoted to auditing maintenance/modification activities over the past 24 months including serving on or presenting to the CASS Board on behalf of maintenance operations groups.

•Knowledge of maintenance practices, CFR’s, ATA 103, NFPA 407.
•Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and excellent time management.
•Ability to be an effective contributor in a fast paced, multi–task work environment.
•Ability to work with minimal supervision.
•Proven organizational skills in a high-pressure environment.
•Professional manner who can liaise at all levels.
•Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.

Job Duties
•Plan and assign auditors' workloads.
•Act as Allegiant Air C.A.S.E. company representative.
•Submit annual activity report CACS-11 with the C.A.S.E. organization.
•Ensure C.A.S.E. allocated audits are completed in a timely manner per the C.A.S.E. policy and procedure manual.
•Ensure C.A.S.E. registered vendors meet the intent of D090 Ops Spec.
•Review completed audits and AIS entries for completeness and accuracy.
•Provide OJT instruction / check rides as necessary to ensure Auditors retain currency.
•Maintain auditor training records.
•Keep the Managing Director Quality / Chief Inspector apprised of problems, issues and concerns.
•Perform periodic Internal Audits of Company functional areas and performs scheduled audits of contract agencies in compliance with the audit procedures provided in the Allegiant Air General Maintenance Manual and Audit Procedures Manual.
•Coordinate with the Materials group regarding the status of outside maintenance providers.
•Ensure outside agencies that repair, overhaul, and perform maintenance on Allegiant Air aircraft, engines, appliances, or components are appropriately rated and qualified to perform such maintenance in accordance with company policies and applicable FARs.
•Assure fuel quality and fueling facilities conform to established company standards and procedures.
•Maintain records of audits and documents findings in compliance with the audit program.
•Ensure all data is provided to CASS on all audits and findings.
•Maintain the Approved Vendor Listing (AVL) in a state of continuous compliance with GMM, CFR, and ops spec D091.
•Ensure FAA required reports (FAA MPL) are accurate and filed timely.
•Ensure any direct reports understand and apply our Customer Commitment and customer service standards to their daily responsibilities as appropriate.
•Model Allegiant’s customer service standards in personal actions and when providing leadership direction.
•Other duties as assigned by the Managing Director, Quality/Chief Inspector.

Office - While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, see, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, key board, printer, and phone. May be required to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 20 lbs. May be required to work various shifts/days in a 24-hour situation. Regular attendance is a requirement of the role. Exposure to moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phones, printers, and foot traffic), temperature and light fluctuations. Ability to work in a confined area as well as the ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time. Some travel may be a requirement of the role.
