Who we are looking for
We’re seeking a passionate storyteller who excels in crafting compelling narratives that captivate audiences. Reporting into the Head of Marketing, this role will be working across all products in the xUnlocked portfolio. About the role

This is a maternity cover role for 9-12 months. You will be responsible for executing, managing and refining a content marketing strategy that engages, educates, and inspires our target audience of enterprise clients. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to create compelling content that drives brand awareness, generates leads, and supports customer engagement across various channels.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Marketing Strategy Execution:

  • Implement the existing content marketing strategy, ensuring alignment with core business objectives and target audience needs.

  • Adjust and refine the strategy based on performance insights, market changes, or business priorities.

Content Creation and Collaboration:

  • produce high-quality content assets, including thought leadership assets, case studies, reports, infographics, videos, and more, aligned with the established strategy and in close collaboration with other teams.

  • Working closely with the content team to collaborate with subject matter experts, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure content accuracy, relevance, and alignment with the brand voice.

  • Develop thought leadership content with and behalf of the CEO, following the new strategy and cadence implementation.

Content Distribution:

  • Execute multi-channel distribution strategies to maximise content impact across owned, earned, and paid platforms, including websites, social media, email marketing, and industry publications.

SEO and Optimisation:

  • Optimise marketing content for search engines using established keyword research, metadata, and on-page SEO best practices.

  • Monitor keyword performance and implement adjustments to improve organic visibility and traffic.

Lead Generation Support:

  • Deliver content assets that support lead generation, including white papers, landing pages, email sequences, and nurture campaigns.

  • Partner with sales and product teams to ensure content aligns with audience needs and drives conversion.

Performance Analysis:

  • Track and report on content performance using metrics such as traffic, engagement, and lead quality.

  • Use data-driven insights to make recommendations for ongoing improvements to the strategy.

Content Governance:

  • Maintain content quality, brand consistency, and compliance with established guidelines and processes.

Qualifications

Must haves

  • 5+ years in a content marketing role

  • Deep understanding of SEO/SEM

  • Journalism, editorial, writing background

Non-essentials, but “nice to haves”

  • Experience working in an Edtech, Sustainability, Finance, Data/AI or a B2B learning environment

About you

  • Demonstrated track record of creating and delivering powerful, evocative content marketing strategies.

  • Experience delivering cross-channel content tailored to the prospect and customer experience.

  • Managed and designed a content calendar and cadence that captures attention and demonstrates expertise across all stages of the sales & marketing funnel.

  • Expert knowledge of SEO, SEM and web analytics.

  • Experience with CRM software, marketing automation platforms, digital marketing tools and techniques.

  • Team player, comfortable working vertically and horizontally across the business.

  • Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.

  • Data-driven mindset with proven ability to derive insights from analytics.

  • Confident, presentable and able to represent xUnlocked as required.

  • Comfortable working in an entrepreneurial environment, and able to tailor approaches to meet the needs of the business as it grows.

  • Empathetic and able to build solid and long-lasting relationships both internally and externally.
