As a Digital Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing digital
marketing strategies tailored to our recruitment agency clients. You will play a key role in SEO
strategy and optimization (60% focus), technical setup for new clients, marketing
performance analysis, and enhancing our overall service offerings. The ideal candidate will
have a deep understanding of SEO, is commercially aware of the recruitment market, and is
passionate about continuously improving our clients digital marketing services.
Key Responsibilities
SEO Strategy and Execution (60%)
- Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies to improve clients' search
rankings and visibility. - Conduct thorough keyword research, competitive analysis, and on-page SEO
optimisation. - Oversee technical SEO audits and provide actionable insights to improve website
performance. - Optimize content for search engines, including blogs, landing pages, and job postings.
- Manage and improve local SEO strategies to enhance recruitment agency visibility.
- Track and analyse SEO performance metrics, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Stay updated with SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices to maintain a
competitive edge.
Technical Setup for New Clients
- Lead the technical onboarding process for new clients, ensuring smooth integration
with digital platforms. - Set up Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Search Console, and other necessary
tools. - Liase with teams to Implement tracking codes, conversion pixels, and event tracking
across platforms. - Conduct website audits and provide recommendations to improve UX, performance,
and SEO.
Marketing Performance Analysis and Reporting
- Create and maintain marketing performance dashboards, tracking key KPIs such as
traffic, engagement, conversions, and ROI. - Analyse data from Google Analytics, social media insights, and paid media reports to
drive strategy improvements. - Provide clients with regular performance reports and actionable recommendations.
- Provide clients with weekly lead updates.
Digital Marketing Strategy and Awareness
- Stay up to date with all digital marketing channels, including PPC, paid social, email
marketing, and content marketing. - Collaborate with internal teams to align SEO efforts with paid and organic strategies.
- Identify opportunities for new services or improvements to enhance client results.
- Assist teams to develop optimised campaign assets such as landing pages and email
templates. - Assist teams to upload and schedule content to both the website and social media
channels. - Assist with the development of CRM data health checks.
Commercial Awareness and Client Engagement
- Understand the recruitment industry trends and how they impact digital marketing
strategies. - Proactively recommend marketing strategies based on client business goals and
market demand. - Engage with clients regularly, providing expert advice and support to maximize their
digital success.
- 3+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a strong focus on SEO.
- Expertise in technical SEO, content optimization, link-building strategies, and analytics.
- Experience with Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and similar tools.
- Ability to set up and manage Google Tag Manager, tracking pixels, and UTM parameters.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including PPC, paid social, and content marketing.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate it into strategic recommendations.
- Confidence and ability to present data to stakeholder audiences
- Excellent communication and client management skills.
- Understanding of, and interest in developing AI custom prompts and tools to deliver work, embracing the role that the human touch plays in AI adoption
- Keen interest and understanding of the role that job postings play on a recruitment website, with a curiosity to learn best practices, stay abreast of updates and provide solutions for different recruitment requirements
- Passion for continuous learning and staying ahead of digital marketing trends
- Knowledge of the recruitment industry or previous experience working with recruitment agencies is a plus.
