Content Manager

Maker Lab supports clients in technology, entertainment, financial services, and the payments industry. We’re looking for dynamic individuals to join our team and support our amazing clients' projects in the FinTech industry.

We are seeking a driven and creative Content Manager. In this role, you will be a key player in supporting the execution of collaborative content initiatives to elevate our client’s brand presence and achieve their marketing goals. You will be responsible for identifying and building relationships with relevant content creators and partners, supporting the development and execution of joint content projects, and analysing performance to ensure maximum impact.

Role

  • Develop and execute SEO-specific content strategies that align with business goals and target audiences across blog posts and landing pages.
  • Create and publish high-quality, engaging, and relevant content that addresses the target audience's needs, striking the right balance between SEO optimisation and reader-centricity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, PMM, and marketers, to ensure consistency and efficacy of content.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in SEO, content marketing, and digital marketing. Oversee content production timelines and the editorial calendar.
  • Support content creation of long-form content aimed at building thought leadership like whitepapers and e-guides.
  • Fact-check information and stories and review written content for spelling and grammar.
  • Manage the allocation of resources via the Content Management System. Ensure timely project completion and goal attainment while maintaining strict adherence to editorial standards.
  • Possess expertise in and effectively utilising artificial intelligence tools for content development initiatives. Implement optimal methodologies for content strategy and development.
  • Identify gaps and introduce ideas to improve the quality and engagement of content, such as UX considerations when publishing content.
  • Collaborate with the SEO team, agency, and Growth Marketing Team to drive blog traffic growth in line with quarterly targets.

You:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
  • 4+  years of experience in SEO content management experience
  • Solid project management experience, specifically content marketing, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders at a global level
  • Proficient understanding of website traffic and engagement metrics (including experience with Google Analytics)
  • Prior experience with content management systems is required
  • Possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with clients, designers, and developers effectively
  • Adaptable to a dynamic startup environment, demonstrating a growth-oriented mindset and the ability to navigate ambiguity.
  • Exceptional verbal and written English communication and presentation skills are essential for managing stakeholders.
