Devices Marketing Manager

Job Brief:

We are looking for a results-driven and strategically minded Marketing Manager to oversee the full portfolio of devices associated with broadband services, mobile handsets, Smart Life and IoT solutions, and next-generation connectivity tools.

The role involves leading the development and execution of marketing strategies, managing key vendor partnerships, and launching innovative and commercially viable offers, ensuring cost efficiency, margin optimization, and market competitiveness.

Job Description:

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for broadband devices, handsets, IoT products, SIM & eSIM.
  • Manage the product lifecycle, from sourcing and procurement to marketing and phase-out.
  • Lead negotiations and manage partnerships and agreements with device manufacturers and solution providers.
  • Design and launch compelling promotions and bundles, balancing innovation with profitability and market trends.
  • Analyze cost structures, set margins, and monitor pricing competitiveness.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (logistics, Sales, Finance, Technical, Customer Experience) to ensure successful product and offer rollouts.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and market innovations to ensure product relevance and differentiation.
  • Oversee the testing, validation, and quality assurance process for new devices and services before commercial launch.
  • Forecast demand and manage stock levels to ensure availability and reduce holding costs.
  • Monitor market trends and customer insights to develop innovative and competitive solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
  • Lead and mentor a team, providing direction, performance management, and professional development.

Leadership/ Management:

  • Manage subordinates’ learning & development requirements and ensure that it is successfully delivered and provide related feedback to the management.
  • Assign roles and workload distribution, set team objectives and conduct regular informal one-on-one meetings to deliver personalized feedback and provide support to attain goals.
  • Conduct formal performance evaluation process for the subordinates in order to optimize workplace productivity
  • Participate in the recruitment, selection, evaluation process of new employees.
  • Provide guidance and delegate responsibilities to subordinates to facilitate performing different tasks to support succession planning process.
  • Manage subordinates' administrational requirements.
  • Assure that all subordinates are following Umniah’s policies and procedures and highlight any violation for the code of conduct.
  • Manage economic, efficient and effective budget plan and control in alignment with the department and Umniah’s strategy.
  • Ensure that employees are engaged and motivated through creating a respectful and trusting relationship with them and communicating Umniah values.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in management by accommodating individual employee needs such as adjustable schedules or remote work options.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, computer Engineering or any other related field.

Level of Experience:

Advanced Experience (8+Yrs) in a related field.

Technical Skills & Knowledge:

  • Proven ability to manage supplier relationships and contractual negotiations.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Track record of successfully launching offers/products.
  • Strong knowledge of telecom devices (modems, routers, handsets) and Smart Life/IoT ecosystem.
  • Excellent skills in offer design, business case development, and pricing strategy.
  • Strong analytical thinking, with attention to detail and a strategic mindset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.

Certifications & Licensure:

Desirable:

  • Certification in Product Marketing, Digital Marketing, or IoT-related disciplines (e.g., Google Digital Marketing, IoT Foundation – IBM, etc.)
  • Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, Agile) is a plus.

Tools & Systems:

  • High analytical skills & Excellent command of Microsoft office specially excel is a must.
  • Fluency in English language is required.
  • Professional in Presentation: Preparing & presenting is a must.
