Lead Generation Representative

In this role, you will be working in Veson Nautical’s Shipfix division. We provide online delivered data and analytical products to the Maritime sector.   
    
Our clients include the world’s leading Traders, lenders, shipowners, operators, regulatory bodies and advisors.  
    
Overview    
    
To support our ambitious growth plans, we are looking for a self-motivated and confident team member with excellent communication skills to join our expanding Lead generation team.
 
As a Veson Nautical Lead Generation Representative, you will proactively identify and engage potential customers to assist the Commercial Sales Team in expanding the customer base for our innovative data products.  
 
Working alongside the regional sales team, you will be responsible for implementing an outreach process for engaging key stakeholders in prospective accounts to generate meetings and positive engagements. We are looking for highly driven, results-focused individuals to support the pipeline growth for our range of products.  
 
    
Summary Of Key Responsibilities    
  • Utilize phone, Email, LinkedIn and other means to connect with identified key decision-makers within prospective accounts
  • Build a pipeline of consistent sales-qualified leads within your territory
  • Arrange qualified online meetings per calendar week with a decision maker that has expressed interest in the Shipfix solutions, including scheduling web demos
  • Identify new 'high potential' prospects via industry news & intelligence sources
  • Work closely with Marketing & Sales leadership on business pipeline lead generation initiatives and actions 
   
Qualifications    
  • Ideally 1+ Years in a proactive sales B2B or B2C business development or customer-facing role, with experience in outbound calling; preferably within maritime, shipping, finance, trading, regulatory, investment or commodities related technology sales
  • High energy, ambition, and self‐motivation
  • Fluent written and verbal English language skills with additional languages welcome!
  • Degree level, ideally with a maritime related qualification
  • Experience with Salesforce, Hubspot, or other campaign tools is a plus
  • Highly effective communication skills with the ability to liaise, engage and build relationships with key stakeholders up to senior management/executive level
  • A good understanding of how data can be used to make business decisions is an advantage
  • Willingness to travel as and when required
  • Demonstrated high rapport building and consultative sales skills
  • Strong proficiency and sales experience in computer software and tools
  • Demonstrated planning and organizing skills
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting
