Utilization Management Supervisor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Supervisor Utilization Management to oversee daily operations of the UM coordinators in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and coordination of UM queues and email communications to meet performance metrics
• Manage the inventory related to prior authorization and ensure compliance with regulatory timeframes
• Facilitate team meetings and provide administrative support, including hiring and training of new staff

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of related experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
• 1+ years of experience in managed care, specifically in Utilization Management
• Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD, and CPT coding
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Availability to work some weekends and holidays
