UK Licensed Senior Commercial Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Commercial Counsel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, including client services and vendor agreements
• Provide business-focused legal advice on UK and EU contract law and commercial best practices
• Collaborate with various teams to deliver pragmatic legal advice and support compliance with legal and regulatory requirements

Qualifications:

• Qualified solicitor or barrister in England & Wales with 5-10 years' post-qualification experience
• Strong experience in negotiating and drafting software/SaaS commercial contracts, particularly in the healthcare sector
• Experience providing in-house legal advice in a fast-paced startup or scale-up environment
• Proactive team player with the ability to offer commercially minded legal solutions
• Fluency in English; additional European languages and proficiency in data security and AI regulations are a plus
