Are you passionate about using data to drive real business results? Are you eager to learn how data shapes the media industry and what makes businesses tick?

We're looking for a Data Assistant to join our team and support our Senior Data Analyst. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a sharp analytical mind and a curiosity about media to learn, grow, and develop technical expertise in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

As a Data Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the agency's data and strategy functions. Your responsibilities will include:

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Analyse the performance and impact of marketing activity on client businesses.
  • Assist in developing processes and systems to manage, access, and interpret various data sources.
  • Create and manage data visualisations using the latest platforms to communicate insights clearly.
  • Support the team to deliver data-driven insights.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Work closely with client team members to address data and measurement challenges, ensuring timely responses to client questions and requests.
  • Collaborate with client team members to deliver ROI tracking recommendations for client campaigns.
  • Develop strong relationships with internal teams, clients, and external partners to facilitate effective information sharing.

Tools & Technical Proficiency

  • Learn and become proficient in third-party tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook, Adobe Suite, Tableau, and Holimetrix.
  • Support the maintenance and improvement of data management systems and reporting processes.

  1. Accuracy & Insights – Deliver accurate and meaningful data analysis that drives client decisions.
  2. Efficiency & Organisation – Ensure timely and organised handling of multiple data sources and reporting tasks.
  3. Communication – Provide clear, actionable insights to both internal and external stakeholders.
  4. Technical Growth – Show continuous improvement and growing expertise in data tools and analytical platforms.
  5. Proactive Learning – Embrace new challenges, seek solutions, and actively develop your knowledge of the media industry.

As this is an entry-level role, we understand that you may not have experience in media or an agency environment. This role will provide you the opportunity to develop your skills. Some transferrable skills and attributes we’re looking for are;

  • You have a degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
  • You have strong numerical and analytical skills with fluency in Excel.
  • You're familiar with Word and PowerPoint.
  • You have skills in data extraction, transformation, and visualisation.
  • You have strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • You’re curious about how data drives decisions in the media, advertising, and technology industries.
  • You take ownership of your work and approach tasks with a logical, methodical mindset.
  • You have a hunger to learn new tools, concepts, and industry practices.
  • You can manage multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail.
  • You enjoy collaborating with others and are eager to build relationships across the business.
