Dutch Speaking Content Moderator Social Media

The House of Mercier is seeking dedicated Dutch Speaking Content Moderators for our social media platforms. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about digital engagement and committed to fostering a safe and inclusive online community. As a Content Moderator, you will review and manage user-generated content primarily in Dutch, ensuring it aligns with our community standards. Play a vital role in enhancing user experiences and maintaining a vibrant online space!

Responsibilities

• Monitor user-generated content across various social media platforms to ensure adherence to community guidelines.
• Review posts, comments, and messages in Dutch, making decisions to approve, flag, or remove inappropriate content.
• Document and report instances of policy violations, including hate speech, spam, and other harmful conduct.
• Engage and communicate with users to address inquiries and clarify community standards.
• Collaborate with the social media team to provide insights and feedback based on user interactions.
• Maintain thorough records of moderation actions and assist in creating performance reports.
• Stay informed about trends and best practices in social media moderation.

• Fluency in Dutch, with strong written communication skills.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
• Prior experience in content moderation or in a similar role is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Strong attention to detail and capability to assess content accurately.
• Excellent critical thinking skills and sound judgment in moderation decisions.
• Familiarity with major social media platforms and their content guidelines.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
