The Patient Service Representative – Float reflects the mission, vision, and values of Northwestern Medicine, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.
The Patient Service Representative- Float supports the service area by checking patients in and out of appointments. This role will consistently demonstrate exemplary customer service when assisting patients and guests. The Patient Service Representative – Float Pool will have varying schedules, start and end times, and work locations to support immediate staffing needs throughout NMG.

You’ll need flexibility, as your hours and locations may vary based on immediate staffing needs across our various clinics. You will greet patients, confirm their identities, and provide vital information about their visits. Other responsibilities include ensuring accurate patient registration, collecting co-payments, and maintaining a welcoming environment in the waiting area. We look for candidates with a high school diploma (or equivalent) and a passion for customer service. While previous healthcare experience is preferable, it's not required.
