Job Summary

A company is looking for a Clinical Document Integrity Specialist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conducts concurrent reviews of patient records to ensure accurate documentation of services and acuity of care
  • Communicates with healthcare teams to provide education on clinical documentation and initiates physician queries for clarification
  • Collaborates with Coding and Quality Teams to maintain compliance and accuracy in clinical documentation
Required Qualifications
  • 3 years of acute care hospital nursing experience, preferably in critical care, or 5 years nursing experience with 3 years in critical care
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license required
  • Certification in Clinical Documentation (CCDS or CDIP) required within 6 months of hire
  • Experience working in a remote environment is preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree in nursing (BSN) is preferred
