Dispensary Security Guard - Full Time

Our next Full-time Security Guard will be one of the first points of contact for our patients as they enter our dispensary. This position will be responsible for ensuring the safety of the building, people, and vendors throughout each shift.

Where you’ll be planted

This position will be on-site at our Cumberland, MD dispensary. Our hours of operation are 9am - 9pm every day of the week. This role will require weekend shift availability.

Pay: $20/hr

• You will be challenged to work tactically to do to service and protect our patients with care and efficiency. 
• One minute you will be verifying state-issued identification and recording the contact in the visitor log
• The next minute you will be completing a security check with the General Manager
• And the next minute assisting the Receptionist with monitoring and improving patient flow
• Regardless of the task, it’s critical you have strong situational awareness and EQ as you’ll work within a diverse team in the organization.

• Must meet age requirements by state as determined by the Department of Health or State Regulatory Commission
• At least two (2) years of Law Enforcement, Security and/or Military experience required
• Must be proficient with computers, POS systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and Microsoft Teams
• Must be flexible regarding work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to work well within a team environment
