Job Summary

A company is looking for a Telephone Operator responsible for managing incoming calls and providing support in a medical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Courteously answers incoming calls and connects callers to the appropriate extension
• Takes and relays messages accurately and responds to emergency calls promptly
• Performs operator functions, including triaging calls and managing the switchboard

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum two years of office experience, preferably in a medical setting
• Ability to sit for long periods and perform manual tasks such as operating office equipment
• Vision correctable to 20/20 and hearing within normal range for telephone contacts
• Must pass a background check and non-federal drug test post-offer
